Adolescent Health
The Adolescent and young adult care revolves around the recognition that ages 11-30 years are unique, and often filled with stress for the body and mind. The goal is to engage, empower and enrich. They need to lead healthy lives, fuel their neurodevelopment, combat inflammatory stressful physiological imbalances, learn coping skills, and stabilize their gut biomes to maximize energy levels, and sleep peacefully. There are a variety of issues to cope with, including maintaining a healthy weight, digestive issues, skin concerns, allergies, fatigue and poor sleep, hormonal imbalances, depression and anxiety, concentration issues, self esteem issues, and gender and sexuality concerns.
Check Ups, Sick Visits, Vaccines
Newborn and pediatric physical exams; routine check ups and sick visits. Services include hearing and vision tests; school, camp, and sports physical exams; immunizations. Rapid tests for Covid, Strep, Flu and other infections.
Comprehensive Functional
Medicine Assessment
An Integrative Functional Medicine Comprehensive health history and physical exam, including laboratory testing to address Gut Biome and diet. Ongoing monitoring and treatment plans, including a personalized plan for optimal digestive health, preventative daily routines, stress reduction and sleep improvement, detoxification, and improved mental wellbeing.
Parental Coaching
Support for parents going through a life challenge, such as pre- or post-partum depression, divorce, or serious illness. Guidance for parents about children struggling with a major developmental change, such as puberty, disability, or a psycho-social challenge related to self-esteem, gender, and sexuality.
